Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, where he was born in the spring of 1988, Blu.'s musical journey sparked early, leading him to compose his first pieces at the tender age of eight. By his early teens, a deep dedication to his craft fueled daily songwriting and a vibrant presence in freestyle battles. At seventeen, he entered the collaborative music scene with the formation of the rap group Salnt City, contributing to their debut album the following year.
The year 2013 marked a significant turning point, ushering in a period of intense artistic growth for Blu., characterized by a refined lyrical depth, a commanding delivery, and a distinct artistic identity. His commitment to connection shines through his collaborations with Utah's 3P and his alliances with influential figures such as Da Deputy, Hopsin, Swizzz, Liquid Assassin of 42 Records, Wrekonize, JL, and Ces Cru of Strange Music Inc.
Drawing inspiration from the foundational elements of hip-hop – from the iconic sounds of Ice Cube and Method Man to the rapid-fire delivery of Tech N9ne – Blu. crafts a sonic tapestry that seamlessly blends trap, rap, and pop. His music serves as an invitation to both energetic movement and profound introspection. With a growing online presence, evidenced by over 100,000 Spotify plays and 40,000 YouTube views, Blu.'s dynamic live performances have captivated audiences across multiple tours, including a full month on the road with Kung Fu Vampire in June 2024 and an eagerly anticipated return tour with him in spring 2025.
